Holistic Primary Care is proud to become the first media sponsor of The Run, a nationwide effort to raise awareness about the importance of natural medicine, individual empowerment, and freedom of choice in the future of American Health Care.
On July 17, Dr. Dennis Godby, a Sacramento, CA, naturopath, along with his sons Isaiah & 
Jeremiah, and a nephew Jonas Ely, will set out from San Francisco to run their way across the nation with the goal of “Moving Natural Medicine Forward.” The runners will cover 3,258 total miles over the course of 107 days, stopping in cities and towns throughout the country to educate people about the values of natural medicine and the role of naturopathy in creating sustainable holisitc health care for the nation.
Along the way, hundreds of runners who share the vision will accompany the Godby/Ely clan for segments of The Run.
Dr. Godby and his fleet-footed family will arrive in HPC’s hometown of New York City on Veteran’s Day (11/11/11) weekend, and we’ll be working with the local naturopathic & holistic medical community to develop some fantastic events to celebrate natural health care and to honor the nation’s veterans.
Financial support for The Run is coming from key naturopathic organizations, as well as some of the top practitioner-channel nutraceutical and natural products companies including Metagenics, Bioresources, Professional Complementary Health Formulas and Nordic Naturals. The latter is offering naturopathic doctors a special promotion during the month of May, with proceeds benefitting The Run.
